Life. Adulting.

Hi you. 🙋🏽‍♀️

How’re you doin’?

It’s been over a year since I’ve come here and if that wasn’t bad enough, I had a hard time trying to log in 😅

Now I want to do the whole, “it’s good to be back! Back like I never left! New me, new effort… yen yen” but you know how that really goes, right?

It’s like new year resolutions, at the turn of the year you’re feeling brand new and inspired and you make all these plans to conquer the world. And then you walk into real-life, say work/school resumes, or the vibe of the new year passes and you’re reminded that talk is cheap.

Everything is more easily said than done but what’s actually missing is the energy/discipline/faith you require to follow through. If there’s anything I’ve learned in my twenty-even years, it’s that life comes at you fast and there’s just so much you can do to counter it.

So, we plan and work towards our goals, putting in all the required efforts and hoping for the best. Sometimes it materializes and other times it doesn’t and that’s okay. Life happens. But it’s okay because you know that God’s got you.

Do you know this?

A picture of the night sky with inscription “God’s got you”

God knows our end from our beginning, as a matter of fact, He knew us before we were formed and He says that His thought towards us is good, good enough to deliver us to our destination. They’re good! And if we can trust Him with all of our cares He is faithful to keep them because, in Him, all things work together for our good. With this in mind, know that come rain or shine, in good times and in the bad time, on hilltops and in the valley… God’s got you.❤️

So, no I’m not going to make any promises because I can only do so much by myself but by the grace of God I intend to show up more intentionally going forward.

There’s so much buzzing in my head and so much I want to write and I hope that you will enjoy reading from me.

With all my heart,

Mo!
